Resolving Excel 2007 Issues
Excel 2007 has changed the way Excel applications with macros like ProAPOD® run. If you are planning to use any ProAPOD® solution with Excel 2007 it is advisable that you read this article to know how to resolve known issues associated with Excel 2007.
Issue: You are not given the opportunity to ENABLE MACROS when you first open ProAPOD® and therefore cannot access our toolbar or enable our functions.
Resolution: Excel 2007 sets the security level to Disable all macros without notification by default. This prevents the macros in ProAPOD® from running which in turn kills its functions. This security setting must be changed for ProAPOD® to operate correctly.

Step 1. Open Excel.
Step 2. Open the Excel Options Dialog Box by clicking the Office Button in the upper left.
Step 3. Select Excel Options at the bottom of the window.
Step 4. Select the Trust Center option from the left-hand pick-list and then click on Trust Center Settings...

Step 5. Select Macro Settings from the left-hand pick-list and then select either Disable all macros with notification or Disable all macros except digitally signed macros (ProAPOD® is digitally signed so this setting is recommended). Also check the Trust
access to the VBA project object model box and click OK.
Step 6. Close Excel.
Result: If you selected Disable all macros except digitally signed macros you can access our toolbar the next time you open ProAPOD® by clicking Excel's Add-Ins tab. If you selected Disable all macros with notification you will need to ENABLE MACROS after opening ProAPOD®.
Step 1. Click on the Options... button.

Note: You can avoid this message in the future by making the ProAPOD® folder a Trusted Location (Excel will automatically enable macros in files from a trusted location).
Step 1. Open the Trust Center as described in Steps 1 through 3 above. Select Trusted Locations from the left-hand pick-list.
Step 2. Click on Add new location...

Microsoft© Excel 2007 no longer allows Excel applications to replace the Excel toolbar with their own customized toolbar. Those using Excel 2007 must now manually add the application's toolbar.
Step 1. Adjust the Security Setting as described above.
Step 2. Click the Excel Add-Ins tab and select ProAPOD.
Result: You should have access to our toolbar functions similar to the following (toolbar functions vary slightly with version). The toolbar shown might appear slightly different in Excel 2007.
